New Product Announcement: VRB, VRL and VRS series
We are pleased to inform you that Nidec-Shimpo has released three new series within their Able high-precision product portfolio. The VRB, VRL, and VRS planetary gear reducers were specially developed as a core group of products to provide a high-performance, cost effective alternative for OEMs. These models are dimensional replacements to other competitive products in the market, but also meet or exceed the competitors' performance specifications at a very competitive price point.
All three series will be kit assembled and supported at the North America headquarters in Itasca, IL starting September 2011. This will provide immediate delivery on a wide variety of frame sizes and ratios that is unmatched within the industry.

| Nidec-Shimpo announces the investment in a Able Kit Build Assembly program at its Itasca, IL facility.
Nidec-Shimpo began construction and integration of a Kit Build Assembly Center that is scheduled to be in operation by early September. The Itasca facility will continue to assembly and support their traditional power transmission products, but the new assembly center will also be capable of building and testing the planetary products for the new series - VRB, VRL, VRS, and few others in the product development pipeline.
The kit build facility will support the company's North and South America sales operations. The build facility will allow Nidec-Shimpo to provide a wide-variety of frame sizes and ratios at minimal lead times that would be unparalleled in the industry. |
